One of the things that every creative mind should be able to do is to cover hers or his weaknesses. Network. Find people who are better at things than you are, and create beautiful things together.

Anytime that you bring another person into your creative space, you invite the possibility of getting a more unique product as a result. As creative people we have a habit of finding our voice and then sticking to it. By bringing someone else's creative voice into the mix, you end up making creative decisions different from your usual modus operandi.

Let's face it, the creative community is close, and that isn't a bad thing. In fact, a community is what often times makes creative pursuits so wonderful. When you participate in collaboration with your fellow artists, you expand your own private community and open the door for more creative opportunities.
4. You Can Learn About Other Mediums
One of the main reasons that anyone should pursue a collaborative project is to be able to use another medium to influence your art. Whenever you team up with another artist in a different medium, you get to learn some about his or her creative process. In turn, learning about a different creative process can heavily influence how you work. Even though you may work in different mediums, that doesn't mean that we cannot learn something about how to be creative people from each other.

What are you going to do with the time that you freed up by collaborating? Well why not try pursuing some more ambitious projects? When you collaborate with someone else you can pool your resources (think connections, experience, expertise, funds, etc.) and pursue projects that otherwise would be impossible or at the very least improbable.
7. You Have More Fun
